Radiologic Technologist-Full Time (Evenings 3p-11p)

Description:
The Radiologic Technologist is an experienced Technologist who completes a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures to include X-ray, OR, Fluoroscopy and CT exams of moderate to high complexity utilizing digital radiography and fluoroscopy techniques. A member of the direct patient care team, is fully competent in all aspects of various radiology procedures. Works independently exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures and patient care situations. Provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic procedures. Delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to radiation standards and guidelines established by radiology agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
In addition, the position requires the individual to be in charge of the department in the absence of the Director and to be responsible for specific areas of instruction with students and ancillary personnel. The radiology department functions are carried out according to hospital policy, the hospital mission statement, and the philosophy of the Department of Radiology.

Qualifications:
1. Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology Technology with a license of:
a. American Registry of Radiology Technologist
b. Medical Radiology Technologist
2. Associates Degree preferred
3. CPR Certification
4. Experienced preferred

Radiology Technologist-PRN-(Weekend)
The Radiology Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist and supervision of the Director, performs various radiology service procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail. The technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. The position requires responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required, including specialized radiographic area such as Special Procedures, Mammography, Cat Scan, etc. In addition, the position requires the individual to be in charge of the department in the absence of the Director and to be responsible for specific areas of instruction with students and ancillary personnel. The radiology department functions are carried out according to hospital policy, the hospital mission statement, and the philosophy of the Department of Radiology.

Qualifications:
